Hayley Leaves Industrial Salt

After founding the band all those years ago, it's come to the time where i feel it's right for me to leave. It's been an amazing 4-5 years and I've enjoyed more success than I could have dreamed of.

Thank you to all those that have supported me and the band.

I do hope you still will, if they choose to continue.

Peace Out :)

Hayley

all you need to know really is, they rock, they're in their early 20's and obviously they're pretty ;p

Nick Beggs (bass) and Steve Askew (lead guitar) will no longer be playing live with industrial salt. However, fear not, they are still very much involved with the project, just from the comfort of a swivel chair with tea and biscuits.
And sometimes cake.

Their replacements come in the form of Jimbo, the super cool dude who will take over as lead guitarist, and Naz, the oh so smoothe baby of the band who will take over as bassist.

The band returned from Japan this week, where they played to a crowd of 17,000 at Yokahama stadium. After being introduced by headliners 'Asian Kung-Fu Generation', they gave a fantastic 35 minute performance, even managing to speak fluent Japanese in between songs. Industrial Salt were followed on stage by Ash, who had been watching the band from the wings and thought they were great.

After the show, the girls were mobbed by a hundreds of people desperate for autographs, and happily signed away for over an hour.

Prior to the the gig, the girls spent 2 days doing back to back TV, live radio and magazine interviews. They have also recorded an interview which will be broadcast on the web at the end of the month to coincide with the single release. As soon as we have the confirmed date it will be posted here.

We will be adding a new page of photos from Japan to the gallery shortly.
